Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has led to a spike in international oil prices, while the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC+) maintains its April production increase plans. New York crude oil futures closed at $110.60 a barrel today, the highest level since 2011.

West Texas Intermediate crude on the New York Mercantile Exchange surged 7% in April to $110.60 a barrel.

London North Sea Brent crude oil rose 7.6% in May to $112.93 a barrel, the highest price since 2014.
