The Best Takedown of the CDC’s ‘Politicized’ C-19 Response That You’ll Ever See

The Best Takedown of the CDC’s ‘Politicized’ Covid Response That You’ll Ever See

Becker News

Dr. Robert Malone delivered the most sensible, credible and powerful criticism of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s ‘politicized’ response to Covid out there.

“I’m honored to be here,” Dr. Malone said. “I’m here on a voluntary basis at the request of the committee. My name is Robert Wallace Malone. I’m a physician licensed in Maryland at graduate of UC Davis, UC San Diego, University of Maryland and Northwestern University, as well as Harvard for a fellowship in clinical research.”

“I spent my career working in the field of medicine, particularly in vaccine technology and biodefense,” he went on. “I am a vaccinologist. Earlier in my career, I had a series of discoveries when I was at the Salk Institute that led to nine issued patents filed approximately 1989 to 1990, that are considered by most to be the foundation technology upon which the mRNA vaccines have been built. There have been additional advances since then. I don’t take credit and I did not in any way claim to have invented these vaccines. Just wanted to get that out.”

“I’m a specialist in clinical research, medical affairs, regulatory affairs, project management, proposal management, particularly large federal grants and contracts, vaccines, and biodefense,” Dr. Malone added. “I’ve won well over 2 billion in grants and contracts. I often chair or in the past have chaired study sections for large vaccine grants and contracts for the NIAID. I’ve met Tony Fauci multiple times.”

“I am a deep specialist in government affairs, particularly in the vaccines and biodefense space,” he continued. “I particularly work with the defense threat reduction agency historically, so a branch of the Department of Defense focused on bio defense.”

“I’m here to talk to you about the policies relating to vaccines in early treatment for SARS-CoV-2 through the various surges and my thoughts and recommendations for future public health events as the committee has requested that I do,” Dr. Malone said. “I’ll do so to the best of my ability in speaking plainly. I hope that nothing I say will offend. That’s not my intention and I’m certainly not here to point fingers or to cause rifts or conflict in terms of my own experience.”

“I’ve been deeply involved in multiple prior outbreak responses, including AIDS,” he continued. “The post anthrax and smallpox scare actually did a lot of the due diligence for the smallpox vaccine products for the Department of Defense and their adverse events. I’m deeply experienced in influenza, vaccine development, Ebola, Zika, and now SARS-CoV-2. I’ve been working nonstop on SARS-CoV-2 since I got a phone call from Wuhan, from a member of the intelligence community on January 2nd, 2020.”

“During prior outbreaks, in my experience, CDC served as a reliable source of impartial, up-to-date, and accurate public health data for physicians, state, and local local public health officials,” Dr. Malone said. “Prior to SARS-CoV-2, the teaching and practice in governmental response has been that the federal CDC advises state public health authorities who have the authority and responsibility, according to the U.S. Constitution, to manage their own public health policies and regulate the practice of medicine. This is your responsibility.”

“And up until the present, that’s always been acknowledged,” he added. “The role of the federal government is in consultation and support and advice. This approach has not been implemented during the COVID crisis, as we’ve been discussing during SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19 outbreak, new policies and practices have been implemented the NIH and particularly NIAID have developed propagated treatment protocols throughout the United States.”

“In most cases, the protocols developed by the NIH have been developed in a non-transparent manner without hearings or significant public comment by independent physicians, practicing physicians,” Dr. Malone said. “Apparently these have been developed largely under the strong influence and oversight of a small number of government officials, predominantly Dr. Fauci and his former trainee, Dr. Birx, particularly under the prior administration.”

“Development of vaccine products have been accelerated in historic nonclinical, clinical development and regulatory practices have been discarded in a quest for speed under specific pressure from the executive branch in the prior administration,” he added. “Development of repurposed drugs and treatment strategies have paradoxically been aggressively blocked or inhibited by both NIH and FDA. Apparently due to requirements in the federal Emergency Use Authorization statute language, requiring lack of available alternatives as a predicate to granting emergency use authorization to a new product, including a vaccine product. In this case with this outbreak, the CDC has played a more supportive role to NIH, in contrast to prior where NIH/NIAID has focused on clinical research and early product development and the CDC is focused on public health policy.”

“We know according to the New York Times article on President’s Day, that the CDC has become politicized, particularly during the current administration, and has actively withheld information, which has been deemed as posing risk for exacerbating vaccine hesitancy during the current outbreak,” Malone said. “The CDC has not fulfilled its traditional role as a neutral collector arbiter and reporter of public health data. CDC has, under FOIA, admitted to failing to perform obligated monitoring analysis and reporting of VAERS and related vaccine safety data.”

“We heard testimony earlier about the reliance of the state of Texas personnel on the evaluation of VAERS from the CDC,” he added. “And we now know that the CDC failed to perform their required tasks relating to VAES analysis assigned to them by Congress. As a consequence, neither patients, physicians nor public health officials have been able to assess up to date information concerning vaccine effectiveness and safety.”

“This has compromised the informed consent process,” he continued. “CDC has actively promoted in marketed vaccination with an unlicensed Emergency Use Authorized product with over $1 billion in U.S. federal funding, expanded to both market the products and to censor those who’ve raised concerns regarding vaccine safety and effectiveness. This is not an opinion. It is well-documented through Freedom of Information Act document disclosure.”

“FDA, NIH, and CDC together with World Health Organization have cooperated to actively restrict, demean, and deprecate the use of multiple currently available licensed drugs for treatment of COVID-19 by licensed practicing physicians, who are the ones who have the authority to establish local standard of care — not the CDC and not the NIAID. And have facilitated retaliation against physicians who did not follow the treatment guidelines established and promoted by the NIH. I was very glad to hear that is not happening with the hospital that was just testifying.”

“Historically, the NIH has neither mandate nor significant prior experience in developing and implementing universal treatment guidance and protocols and has done so in a unilateral manner without seeking meaningful input from practicing physicians,” he went on. “NIH leadership has acted to restrict and retaliate against highly qualified, independent physicians and medical scientists who question federal management policies. We know this most notably in the case of the Great Barrington Declaration, and the primary authors of that document. Again, Freedom of Information [Act], disclosures of emails, It’s incontrovertible.

“On a national basis without respect for state boundaries, this is key, or coordination with state governments, NIH and CDC have actively engaged with and directly paid corporate media and technology and social media companies to promote federal positions and policies, and to censor any discussions of policies, risks, adverse events, or treatment options, other those than those, which they have endorsed, again, multiple FOIA documents demonstrate this.” Dr. Malone said.

“There is evidence in the case of the State of Florida and Governor Ron DeSantis that the federal government has intentionally withheld monoclonal antibody therapeutics as political retaliation for COVID crisis management policies implemented by the State of Florida, which are not aligned with federal government policies and mandates,” Dr. Malone added. “Now in section three of the request from the committee, from my comment, they asked a series of questions relating to the effects of vaccines and the now remarkably enhanced reinfection rate in the United States population.”

“Those questions included some detailed, let’s say, ‘inside baseball’ questions, having to do with the nuance of nomenclature of effectiveness or efficacy, et cetera,” he noted. “I am going to pass over those unless there’s reasons for questions that are available to you in the document, in the interest of time.”

“During the COVID crisis, the use of the terms, ‘immunity’ and ‘effectiveness’ have been applied creatively by the NIH and CDC leadership,” he remarked. “First to refer to prevention of infection, replication, and spread. Then as those endpoints were not being met by the vaccines to prevention from hospitalization and death. Then as those endpoints were only partially achievable to a relative reduction in hospitalization and death, which currently, based on the latest peer review data, is in the range of between 30 and 60% of fully vaccinated persons in high-risk categories are still at risk of hospitalization and death.”

This testimony before the Texas State Senate is the serious and rigorous criticism of the federal government’s Covid response that the American people need to hear.

Stanford University Professor Believes the “Seafood Market” Theory Regarding Virus Origin Is a Cover-Up

01/30/2022 Stanford University professor Dr. J. Bhattacharya: doctors knew or had a high suspicion that the virus did not come from a wet market. So many of the top scientists in the world, including Dr. Fauci, believed that the lab leak was a real possibility. And they worked to hide that fact from the American public.

Biden Caught On Hot Mic Calling Fox News Reporter ‘Stupid Son Of A B-tch’ After Inflation Question

President Joe Biden was caught on a hot mic calling Fox News’ Peter Doocy a “stupid son of a b-tch” on Monday at a White House photo op. The off-color comment from the commander-in-chief who campaigned on unity came in response to a question on soaring inflation.

“Do you think inflation’s a political liability in the midterms?” Doocy asked as reporters were rushed to the exit.

“It’s a great asset, more inflation,” Biden said. “What a stupid son of a b-tch.”

Biden dismissed the concern despite inflation rates reaching 40-year highs one year into his own presidency, which he promised would be conducted with civility and respect.

“I’m not joking when I say this: If you’re ever working with me and I hear you treat another colleague with disrespect or talk down to someone, I promise you, I will fire you on the spot,” Biden warned White House staff on his first day in office. “On the spot. No ifs, ands, or buts.”

Biden’s own contempt shown to a member of the White House press corps as the administration faces record-low approval ratings follows NIAID Director Anthony Fauci calling a Republican senator “a moron” earlier this month in another hot mic moment.

“Jesus Christ,” Fauci said under his breath after insulting Kansas Sen. Roger Marshall.

Biden’s decision to insult the press as opposed to answering their questions came after the president held his second-ever news conference for American reporters while in office. During the two-hour briefing, Biden attacked RealClearPolitics’ White House Reporter Philip Wegmann for a question on the president’s divisive comparisons of those opposed to the Democrats’ colossal elections package as complicit with Jim Crow-era segregation.

“You campaigned and you ran on a return to civility,” Wegmann said. “And I know that you dispute the characterization that you called folks who would oppose those voting bills as being ‘Bull Connor’ or ‘George Wallace,’ but you said that they would be sort of in the same camp.”

“No, I didn’t say that. Look what I said,” Biden snapped. “That is an interesting reading of English. You — I assume you got into journalism because you liked to write.”

A review of the Georgia speech transcript vindicates Wegmann’s question.

“At consequential moments in history, they present a choice,” Biden said earlier this month. “Do you want to be the si- — on the side of Dr. King or George Wallace? Do you want to be on the side of John Lewis or Bull Connor? Do you want to be on the side of Abraham Lincoln or Jefferson Davis? This is the moment to decide to defend our elections, to defend our democracy.”

EXCLUSIVE: House Republicans Demand HHS Inspector General Launch Criminal Probe Into Anthony Fauci

Nearly a dozen House Republicans led by Ohio Rep. Warren Davidson called on the inspector general of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to launch a criminal probe into National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Director Anthony Fauci.

The referral stems from the chief presidential medical adviser’s calls for Fox News anchor Jesse Watters to be fired after the network host urged students at a conservative conference to confront Fauci over his routine lies.

“Now you’re going for the kill shot. The kill shot with an ambush is deadly because he doesn’t see it coming,” Watters said at a Turning Point USA event. “This is when you say, ‘Dr. Fauci, you funded risky research at a sloppy Chinese lab. The same lab that strung this pandemic on the world. You know why people don’t trust you, don’t you?’ Boom, he is dead. He is dead.”

While Watters made his comment in the context of a First Amendment exercise to hold government leaders accountable, Fauci went on CNN to demand the Fox host be disciplined over the “horrible comments.”

“That’s awful that he said that,” Fauci complained. “And he’s going to go very likely unaccountable. I mean, whatever network he’s on is not going to do anything for him. I mean, that’s crazy. The guy should be fired on the spot!”

In their letter to the HHS inspector general sent Thursday afternoon, House Republicans pointed out it’s a criminal offense punishable by up to 15 years in prison for a federal official to influence private-sector employment decisions based on partisan affiliation.

“Dr. Fauci did so while acting in his official government capacity as NIAID Director and Chief Medical Advisor to the President of the United States,” they wrote. “Dr. Fauci’s attempt to influence Mr. Watters’ private sector employer to terminate him on the basis of partisan political affiliation may constitute a violation of federal law.”

Lawmakers asked the HHS inspector general to probe two questions, including whether:

1. Dr. Fauci intended to influence Mr. Watters’ private employer to terminate him on the basis of partisan political affiliation, …

2. Whether Dr. Fauci engaged in an ‘official act’ under [federal statute] when he publicly called for the firing of Mr. Watters while giving an interview in his official capacity.

Fox News defended its new anchor of the network’s 7 p.m. prime time slot following the blowback.

“Based on watching the full clip and reading the entire transcript, it’s more than clear that Jesse Watters was using a metaphor for asking hard-hitting questions to Dr. Fauci about gain-of-function research and his words have been twisted completely out of context,” Fox said in a statement.

In an interview with The Federalist, Davidson said he hopes the HHS will embrace a “broad look at how Fauci has conducted himself in an office of public trust.”

“Fauci feels that he is unaccountable because he has been for a long time,” Davidson said.

In the same Tuesday hearing wherein Fauci called Kansas Republican Sen. Roger Marshall “a moron,” the NIAID director engaged in another sparring match with Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul.

Paul, who likely caught the White House medical adviser committing perjury last year over federal funding of gain-of-function research overseas, confronted Fauci for the health official’s attempts to discredit prominent epidemiologists. The three experts from Harvard, Oxford, and Stanford were promoting alternative strategies to navigate the coronavirus pandemic from the strict lockdowns implemented by Faucian followers.

“Instead of engaging them on the merits, you and Dr. Collins,” Paul said, referencing the former National Institutes of Health director, “sought to smear them as fringe and take them down, and not in journals, in lay press. This is not only antithetical to the scientific method, it’s the epitome of cheap politics, and it’s reprehensible, Dr. Fauci.”

Did Fauci Interfere In The 2020 Election? Special Counsel Says It’s A ‘Close Call’

The Office of Special Counsel (OSC) exonerated National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Director Dr. Anthony Fauci earlier this month in a “close call” case of a Hatch Act violation.

In June, the government transparency non-profit Protect the Public’s Trust filed a complaint against Fauci over an October 2020 interview with the Washington Post. Published days before the election, the White House medical adviser branded then-candidate Joe Biden as taking the novel Wuhan coronavirus more seriously.

In the article, headlined “A whole lot of hurt: Fauci warns of COVID-19 surge, offers blunt assessment of Trump’s response,” Fauci told the Post, “you could not possibly be positioned more poorly” to confront the pandemic and emphasized the United States needed an “abrupt change.”

When asked about the differences between the two major presidential candidates on their pandemic plans, Fauci said Biden “is taking it seriously from a public health perspective,” but that incumbent President Donald Trump was “looking at it from a different perspective.”

“Right now, the public health aspect of the task force has diminished greatly,” Fauci told the Post with Trump still in office.

The Hatch Act, passed in 1939, explicitly bars a federal employee from “us[ing] his official authority or influence for the purpose of interfering with or affecting the result of an election.” Fauci, the complaint said, “exceeded the mere exchange of opinions and in fact, participated in impermissible political activity.”

“Despite personally categorizing similar statements as ‘political’ just days before,” the group filing the complaint wrote, “Dr. Fauci nevertheless offered his evaluation of the Biden campaign’s approach to the COVID-19 pandemic relative to the approach taken by President Trump and connected differences in the nation’s likely health outcomes to the different approaches.”

In a letter dated Jan. 3, the Office of Special Counsel issued its ruling on the group’s complaint.

“OSC generally advises employees that it is best not to discuss candidates for partisan political office when speaking in their official capacity,” Deputy Chief of the Hatch Act Unit Erica Hamrick wrote. But, she added, public testimony “must still show that the employee engaged in political activity to establish a Hatch Act violation.”

“Here, while a close call, Dr. Fauci’s comments, without more, do not appear to be directed at the electoral success or failure of either candidate,” Hamrick ruled. “The timing of the interview coincided with the upcoming winter season and Dr. Fauci’s assessment of the virus’s impact leading into that season.”

The Washington Post, Hamrick concluded, “may have written it from a particular perspective and tried to use Dr. Fauci’s words to make a political point,” but wrote “OSC cannot impute the author’s intent.”

Michael Chamberlain, the director of Protect the Public’s Trust, said the group “respect[s] OSC’s determination.”

“Unfortunately, as the Office of Special Counsel noted, Dr. Fauci disregarded its best practices around the Hatch Act and enabled his official position to be used ‘to make a political point’ even if his motives were unclear,” Chamberlain said in a press release.

Since the pandemic’s inception, Fauci, the highest-paid employee across the federal government, has leveraged his White House role as a “political animal” to undercut the Trump administration and forge a media-manufactured consensus to prolong lockdowns.

In December, new emails surfaced that exposed Fauci colludingwith National Institutes of Health Director Francis Collins to discredit alternate approaches to approach the pandemic to lockdowns.

From Fauci to Big Tech, GOP already has clear investigative targets [A John Solomon Pod-Cast]

From Fauci to Big Tech, GOP already has clear investigative targets if it wins back Congress

Though election is a year away, House Republicans already know what they want to investigate and who they want to subpoena

By John Solomon

Ohio Republican Rep. Jim Jordan is the most likely candidate to take over the House Judiciary Committee if the GOP wins back Congress next year. Ask him what he wants to investigate and who he wants to subpoena, and he doesn’t hesitate. Not even for even a second.

“Fauci,” he told Just the News, referring to Dr. Anthony Fauci, the U.S. infectious disease specialist overseeing America’s pandemic response.

While the many conflicting messages and reversals of the pandemic response are ripe for investigation, Republicans like Jordan also want to press Fauci about why America was funding China’s bat research on coronaviruses at the Wuhan Institute of Virology through a U.S. nonprofit called EcoHealth Alliance and why NIH revived a dangerous form of experimentation known as gain of function in 2017.

“You know, Dr. Fauci knew on January 31 2020, that [the COVID-19 outbreak] most likely came from a lab,” Jordan said during an interview with the John Solomon Reports podcast. “He got an email from Dr. Christian Anderson, which said the virus looks engineered, the virus is not consistent with evolutionary theory. That is a fancy way of saying this thing came from the lab, and yet he misled us for over the last year saying, ‘Oh, no, no, no, that’s not the case.’ He got articles written and everything else. So we need to investigate that.”

Fauci disputes some of the Republican theories but acknowledges the lab leak theory is a possibility even as he and other NIH scientists still argue natural evolution is a more likely explanation for the COVID scourge the world now suffers. But Jordan knows there’s a populist reason to dig into the China mess.

“The idea that we’re funding, we’re paying people in China to do this kind of research is frightening,” he said.

The 2022 midterm elections are still more than 10 months away, and lots of history remains to be written. But President Joe Biden’s rapidly falling popularity, the continuing inflation and COVID crises, and a large number of Democratic incumbent retirements have Republicans scheming and dreaming about what they would investigate should they win the chairmen’s gavels.

Axios reported Sunday that House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy is already planning to send document preservation orders to several Biden administration agencies to retain evidence for investigations. The news site suggested McCarthy has seven major investigations already planned.

Jordan, as a likely chairman of the main law enforcement oversight committee, would oversee several of the probes.

He told Just the News that in addition to Fauci’s China connections, he’d also like to investigate Attorney General Merrick Garland’s order asking the FBI to investigate parents as a domestic threat for protesting school board curriculum decisions, and the continued censorship of Americans by Big Tech. On the latter, Jordan hopes to reform the Section 230 immunity from lawsuits many giants like Facebook, Google and Twitter currently enjoy.

“We got to get to the bottom of the the school board’s issue, what the Justice Department is doing, how they’re treating it,” the Ohio Republican said  “This threat tag label that we got from a whistleblower they’re putting on parents is frightening as well. So those are some of the big investigations. And then, frankly, it’s going to be tough to get anything passed into law, but we should still go ahead and pass it out of the House.

“And you know, Joe Biden would veto it, but we need to pass section 230 [reform], which takes away the liability protection for these … Big Tech platforms who always want to squelch and censor conservatives.”

McCarthy reportedly has several other targets including:

  • The leak of a vast cache of IRS documents about billionaires to ProPublica;
  • National Security Agency’s possible monitoring or unmasking of journalists like Fox News host Tucker Carlson;
  • The record surge of illegal aliens crossing the southern U.S. border;
  • The bungled withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan, including the stranding of Americans and Afghan supporters;
  • The controversial JEDI cloud-computing contract at the Pentagon that pits Microsoft against Jeff Bezos’ Amazon Cloud Services.

Many Republicans also believe a more thorough investigation into Hunter Biden’s business deals and his father’s knowledge of them is warranted. Sens. Ron Johnson and Chuck Grassley completed a preliminary probe before the 2020 election, but there have been numerous revelations since, many from a laptop Hunter Biden left at a computer repair shop, a device that is now in the FBI’s hands.

Peter Navarro, former President Donald Trump’s trade and manufacturing adviser, said the laptop’s revelations about the extent of the Biden family’s business interests in China raise serious concerns about whether President Biden is too compromised to negotiate with Beijing.

“I think the laptop from hell, Hunter Biden’s laptop from hell kind of is the big reveal,” Navarro told Just the News. “Hunter Biden is going over to Communist China and leveraging the political fame of Daddy there. Look, we don’t have a China policy in the Biden administration, we simply have appeasement.”
